Božena Končić Badurina — Flowers for Marija Vinski

The book Flowers for Marija Vinski by Božena Končić Badurina is essentially an illustrated index of the flowers mentioned by Marija Vinski in her diary, which the artist then researched and drew. In this way, the book itself becomes a symbolic gesture toward the late Marija Vinski and at the same time a visual archive of the artist’s interpretation of her texts. The design interventions are actually minimal so that this gesture and the drawings can be fully emphasized, with the cover conceptually connected to the content. The cloth on the cover is naturally dyed with goat willow.
